Live In Atlanta Brookhaven
If you are looking for an up and coming area of Northern Atlanta with plenty of attractions, shopping, and dining to be had, you should definitely check out Atlanta Brookhaven. Settled between Sandy Springs and Midtown, this small city of 49,000 residents was first established by John Evins in 1810. By the 1830s, another family by name of the Goodwin’s had taken over the settlement. Over time, that family and other residents started calling the area Cross Keys, which developed into the city of North Atlanta in 1924. However, by the sixties, that city charter was dissolved. Finally in 2011, this area, now known as Brookhaven, was officially incorporated as a city.
Different sections of Brookhaven include Historic Brookhaven, Brookhaven Village, Lynwood Park, Peachtree Road, North Brookhaven, Buford Highway, and Lenox Park. Each of these neighborhoods has a different urban feel, with several businesses within. With so many diverse options throughout Brookhaven, this is a fantastic area to live and work! In addition, there are a lot of recreational parks, such as Ashford Park, Blackburn Park, Lynwood Park, Georgian Hills Park, and many others.
